Yes, you read that right. This page is my donkey, at least Max Lucado and myself see it that way. Let me explain. I've been reading one of Lucado's books, "And the Angels were Silent: The Final Week of Jesus". He was discussing Palm Sunday and particularly Jesus' statement, "If anyone asks you why you are taking the donkeys, say that the Master needs them, and he will send them at once." Lucado wondered about what the donkey's owner must have thought at hearing this statement and how willing he was to give up the donkey, a donkey that Jesus needed from him. These pondering led him to this:

"All of us have a donkey. You and I each have something in our lives, which, if given back to God, could, like the donkey, move Jesus and his story further down the road. Maybe we can sing or hug or program a computer or speak Swahili or write a check. Whichever, that's your donkey. Whichever, your donkey belongs to him." (Chapter 7- The Guy with the Donkey)

So, this is my donkey. I hope in some small way it well help Jesus' mission.
